Prince Harry splits from girlfriend of two years

Prince Harry splits from girlfriend of two years - A Bonas family source confirms the breakup and says, "It's very sad that they have decided to split. It's very amicable, but they have decided to go their separate ways."

Prince Harry is a single man! Two years after the 29-year-old royal began dating Cressida Bonas, the couple has split, two separate sources confirm to Us Weekly.

"They're off, but I don't think it's for good," a source told Us. "They hit a rocky patch and this decision is the result of that. Harry is the type to want to take breathers and then try again." A spokesman at Kensington Palace tells Us: "We never comment on private lives."

The socialite Bonas, 25, was introduced to the Prince by her friend and Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie of York. The pair appeared cozy for months after an early appearance at The Dark Knight Rises premiere in London in July 2012.

Last fall, word spread that wedding bells may be in the works for the pair—a rumor Bonas' brother quickly shot down.

In an interview with the Evening Standard, Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe called the speculation that his half-sister Bonas was engaged to Harry "ludicrous," going on to add, "It’s challenging, you can’t deny it. It’s not something that is easy for anyone dating a royal or marrying into the family or anyone in the royal family themselves. I think on some level it is different to any other type of fame."

In recent weeks, there have been rumors that there was trouble brewing between the couple. The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton had reportedly been spending the past few months advising Bonas on fitting in to the royal lifestyle.

The newly single Prince Harry is scheduled to travel to the United States this week with his brother Prince William. The siblings will attend the wedding of their good friend Guy Pelly in Memphis, Tenn. ( Usmagazine.com )

The picture was quickly deleted, but not before it hit 86,000 likes

The Biebs' manager, Scooter Braun, took to Twitter to joke about the cheeky photo (using perhaps the best hashtag of the week), writing, "as a prankster u have to respect another good prank. only makes sense. #crackdealer"

The "Beauty and the Beat" singer kept his reply short and sweet, Tweeting, "Haha."

And it seems Justin is getting quite comfortable in his adult skin.

In addition to sharing his backside-baring pic, the singer stripped off his shirt during his Nashville concert on Friday night, showing off his red boxer briefs and leaving little to the imagination as the waistband of his pants was sagging far below his waist. ( Access Hollywood )

Despite Face Tattoo, Composer Is Presidential Contender

When the candidates for president of the Czech Republic meet in a televised debate tonight, by far the most colorful contender will be Vladimir Franz. His entire head is tattooed.

Despite his wildly unorthodox appearance Franz has a respectable 11.4 percent of the popular vote in opinion polls, placing him third among the nine candidates, a position that could make him a Czech king maker.

Franz, 53, holds a law degree, is a Czech drama professor, a painter and a prolific opera and theater composer. He also has tattoos covering 90 percent of his body, a variety of body piercings and dyed blue hair.

"Today is the biggest day of my art career and of my political career," Franz told ABC News. "I have a world opera premiere of Karel Capek's novel 'War With the Newts' in the National Opera at 7 p.m. and a national TV debate at 8 p.m."

Voting will take place this weekend and a runoff is scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 25 and 26. The runoff will likely feature leftist Milos Zeman and his right-wing rival, Jan Fischer.

ABC OTUS News - Despite Face Tattoo, Composer Is Presidential Contender (ABC News)

Franz is running as an independent whose political views are far less extreme than his carney sideshow looks. And he is proud of his looks.

"My tattoos are my private little garden. They are not a handicap, they are added value," Franz said. "Elections are not a beauty contest. It is all about tolerance."

He is intent on expanding his work to the art of politics.

"It is not time to be an artist only in the Czech Republic now, you have to act as an citizen. I think a piece of pure heart would not harm our politics," Franz said.

He rhetoric is that of a grass roots politician. "I want to return the state to its citizens. I want to be an ambassador of the people in high politics. I want to fight for the people," he says as if he's said it before during his campaign around the country over the past few months.

"My four pillars are: education, culture, morality and tolerance," Franz states.

Franz's appeal lies primarily in the country's under-30 voters where he polls one-third of the vote, making him the most popular of the nine candidates.

"He is not hungry for power like other candidates," said Jan Herzmann, managing partner of PPM factum pollster. "All he wants to do is cultivate Czech political scene."

"Everything about this colorful candidate is different. His appearance, lack of political experience, and the fact that he was pushed by his friends and fans to the presidential race. He is the only strong opposition to the current Czech political scene," Herzmann said.

Franz is attracting support from some establishment folks as well as the youth. Pavel Kohout, a leading economist, offered his services for free.

"I respect him for a number of reasons, but the fact that he is not compromised in any way singles him out as the best candidate," Kohout said.

Cowboys' Brent charged in death of teammate in car crash

Cowboys' Brent charged in death of teammate in car crash - Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was charged with manslaughter on Saturday after the car he was accused of driving while drunk crashed and killed teammate Jerry Brown Jr, in the second tragedy involving NFL players in a week.

Police in the Dallas suburb of Irving said that Brent, 24, was driving at high speed on a state highway at 2:21 a.m. when his car flipped and then caught fire. The car slammed into an "outside curb, causing the vehicle to flip at least one time before coming to rest in the middle of the service road," police said.

Brown, who had been in the passenger seat, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital a short time later. Brent suffered "minor scrapes" and was booked into the Irving jail, where he remained on Saturday awaiting arraignment, police said.

Dallas Cowboys football player Joshua Price-Brent, 24, is shown in this booking photo supplied by the Irving Police Department December 8, 2012. Price-Brent flipped his vehicle after striking a curb.

"Officers at the scene believed alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash," police said, adding that Brent was given a sobriety test. "Based on the results and the officer's observations and conversations with Price-Brent, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated," Irving police spokesman John Argumaniz said at a news conference.

Brown, 25, was a linebacker on the professional team's practice squad but had not played any games with the Cowboys. He had played in one NFL game for the Indianapolis Colts this season before joining the Cowboys.

Brown also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League in 2011 and for two Arena Football League team, the Jacksonville Sharks in 2011 and the San Antonio Talons in 2012. Arena football is played indoors on a smaller field than NFL or Canadian outdoor football.

Brent, 24, has started in five games for the Cowboys and played 12 this season since regular starting defensive lineman Jay Ratliff was sidelined with injuries.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones issued a statement expressing his condolences to the family of Brown, who was originally from Missouri.

"We are deeply saddened by the news of this accident and the passing of Jerry Brown. Our hearts and prayers and deepest sympathies are with the members of Jerry's family and all of those who knew him and loved him."

Brent remained in jail on Saturday and his bond will be set at his Sunday morning arraignment, police said. The drunk driving charge was upgraded to intoxication manslaughter, a second degree felony which is punishable in Texas by two to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.

When police arrived on the scene of the accident after several 911 calls, part of the car was on fire. The 2007 Mercedes sedan was resting on its roof in the middle of the road, and Brent was dragging Brown out of the burning car, said Irving police spokesman John Argumaniz at a news conference.

Police believe, based on gouge marks and other physical evidence at the scene, that Brown was driving faster than the posted 45 miles per hour speed limit.

Argumaniz said the Texas police are still looking for witnesses to the crash, which did not appear to involve any other vehicles.

"There were people on scene," he said. "However, it's our understanding that no one saw what took place. They drove up after the accident."

Brent has been arrested for drunk driving before. While he was on the University of Illinois football team, he was arrested February 23, 2009, on a drunk driving charge, according to Champaign, Illinois, county records. He spent time in the county jail and was suspended from the team, according to local media reports. He eventually left school and was drafted by the Cowboys.

The Cowboys team, which has struggled to live up to high expectations this season with 6 wins and 6 losses, is playing the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday.

The tragedy comes as the NFL is still reeling from the death of Kansas City Chiefs starting linebacker Jovan Belcher, who shot his girlfriend to death one week ago before driving to the team's training facility and killing himself in front of the coach and general manager. ( Reuters )

JLo tones down concert in Indonesia

JLo tones down concert in Indonesia — Jennifer Lopez wowed thousands of fans in Indonesia, but they didn't see as much of her as concertgoers in other countries — the American pop star toned down both her sexy outfits and her dance moves during her show in the world's most populous Muslim country, promoters said Saturday.

Lopez's "Dance Again World Tour" was performed in the country's capital, Jakarta, on Friday in line with promises Lopez made to make her show more appropriate for the audience, said Chairi Ibrahim from Dyandra Entertainment, the concert promoter.

"JLo was very cooperative ... she respected our culture," Ibrahim said, adding that Lopez's managers also asked whether she could perform her usual sexy dance moves, but were told that "making love" moves were not appropriate for Indonesia.

"Yes, she dressed modestly ... she's still sexy, attractive and tantalizing, though," said Ira Wibowo, an Indonesian actress who was among more than 7,000 fans at the concert.

Another fan, Doddy Adityawarman, was a bit disappointed with the changes.

"She should appear just the way she is," he said, "Many local artists dress even much sexy, much worse."

Lopez changed several times during her 90-minute concert along with several dancers, who also dressed modestly without revealing their chests or cleavage.

Most Muslims in Indonesia, a secular country of 240 million people, are moderate. But a small extremist fringe has become more vocal in recent years.

They have pushed through controversial laws — including an anti-pornography bill — and have been known to attack anything perceived as blasphemous, from transvestites and bars to "deviant" religious sects.

Lady Gaga was forced to cancel her sold-out show in Indonesia in May following threats by Islamic hard-liners, who called her a "devil worshipper."

Lopez will also perform in Muslim-majority Malaysia on Sunday.

"Thank you Jakarta for an amazing night," the 43-year-old diva tweeted to her 13 million followers Saturday. ( Associated Press )
